MIXED MEDIA NFT #2 of 10
This Cinematic NFT was experienced while flying exploring the Livingston Range, located on the west side of Glacier National Park in the Rocky Mountains of Northwestern Montana. While flying above Gyrfalcon Lake on Nahsukin Mountain along the Continental Divide, a most unusual sight appeared down in the mountainous glacial cirque ahead. Large avalanche trails spew rock, ice, and dirt debris down the steep cliffs from Rainbow Glacier high above on the southern side of Rainbow Peak and Mount Carter. We dive down to get a closer look and photograph this most amazing natural occurrence.
Featuring a composition written specifically for this NFT, the music provides a melodious sonic backdrop that accompanies the visuals for a wonderfully immersive experience. Narration is also provided by Zedekiah.
Location Map Set
Flying above the Livingston Range, along the Continental Divide, we approach the Cerulean Lake Basin from above Nahsukin Mountain, Gyrfalcon Lake, Two Ocean Glacier, and Vulture Peak. As we clear the tops of the Carnelian Cliffs and Bighorn Peak we drop down into the Cerulean Lake Basin to get a close-up of Cerulean Lake, flying above and around Rainbow Creek, Quartz Creek, and Quartz Lake.
Accompanying Physical Goods
This is a very rare physically minted commemorative coin for “Where Eagles – American Wilderness Expedition”. Shown below is the front side (L) and backside (R).
Avalanche Trails on Cerulean Lake
With the spring sun melting the winter snow cover on the southern-facing Vulture Peak and Rainbow Glacier, rock, ice, and dirt debris cascade down from the sheer vertical cliffs that ring this glacial cirque surrounding Cerulean Lake. Tons of material, violently torn loose from the overhanging rocks fall, near vertically, splashing a remarkable trail down these steep walls. The force of the falling rubble spreads the avalanche trails across the basin, with some of the larger fragments carrying so much kinetic energy they actually change direction when reaching the lower slopes in the basin, seemingly attempting to climb back up the walls! One large rock fragment has made it all the way into the lake, piercing the frozen surface of Cerulean Lake. This extraordinary view is only available from this lofty aerial perspective, directly above the frozen lake.
Greetings and howdy to you all from the remote Rocky Mountains in northwestern Montana. This Reserved-Limited Edition series of 10 rare Mixed-Media NFTs was designed to offer a combination of Digital (Film and Image) and Physical (Collectors Coin and Volumetric Print) artworks that are combined in one NFT Smart Token to create something that is super rare for a number of reasons: The film and image were extremely difficult to create. The film shows the image being created (proof of provenance). There is a combination of film and matching image. The soundtrack is an original composition crafted specifically for this NFT. This is super scarce in that it is a One/One Edition, making it highly collectable.
