This is Andrus Canyon in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area of the Parashant Grand Canyon National Park. The area in the immediate foreground is called Grassy Mountain and the flat mesa to the left center of the image is called Lone Mountain. The main canyon in the right of the image is Parashant Canyon and you can follow that all the way to the Colorado River.
Zedekiah: “This unusual view of the Grand Canyon area was captured while I was flying to the Southwest along the Northern Border of the park. As I chased the leading edge of a rainstorm trying to get around and behind it, I came upon this view of the canyon.”
